PLP® is an international designer and manufacturer of products and systems employed in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground networks (Outside Plant – OSP) for the Communications, Cable operators, Data Communications and Energy industries. We are seeking an individual who will manage the IFS Implementation Project for domestic and foreign subsidiaries, including all activities during the life cycle of the project including business process engineering, information technology and training.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related degree coupled with 5 or more years of project management experience within IT. In addition, the successful candidate must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft projects or a similar project scheduling tool, implementation of ERP applications, vendor management and negotiation experience, with knowledge and experience with the IFS application and manufacturing accounting and business processes preferred.

Preformed Line Products (PLP) is an international designer and manufacturer of products and systems employed in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground networks (Outside Plant – OSP) for the Communications, Cable operators, Data Communications and Energy industries. We are seeking a Manager of the MIS Technology Department who will be responsible for managing the IT functions and processes to ensure timely and economical operation and installation of Information systems consistent with policies, procedures and requirements across all functional and technical areas.
The successful candidate must be degreed in Information Systems or Computer Science. In addition, the successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years previous experience in business systems and design, with exposure to manufacturing, product development and manufacturing processes with computer technology experience required, including Microsoft technology experience (MCSA/MCSE 2000/2003), network and telecommunication skills, windows server 2003, Windows XP Pro, MS Office 2003, and Unix and ERP experience. Excellent leadership, management, technical, computer and analysis skills are required and multiple language skills are preferred.
